Rosemary Amaro Fizz

Today’s clever cocktail is built on Hendricks gin and embellished with the bitter-sweet edge of Amaro and herbal accent of fresh Rosemary. It is a great tall drink for spring that you can tailor to your taste and vary by mixing it with different brands of Amaro. 

Rosemary Amaro Fizz

In a shaker glass add:

• 2 Healthy Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
• 1/2 Ounce Simple Syrup
• 1 Ounce Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

Muddle the three together bruising the Rosemary to draw out its aromatics.  Add ice to the shaker then add:

• 1 ½ Ounces of Hendricks Gin
• ½ Ounce of Amaro (we used Amaro Lucano)

Shake well and strain through a fine sieve into highball glass filled with fresh ice.  Top with club soda.  Garnish with a sprig of Rosemary.
