Arugula Gimlet

We don’t typically think of getting our greens while imbibing but when we came across this recipe for an Arugula Gimlet we had to give it a try.  Arugula has a great spicy nature as a green and when infused into a Gimlet it really shines.  Crazy?  Maybe.  Delicious?  Definitely!

Arugula Gimlet

In a shaker glass ½ filled with ice add:

• 2 Ounces London Dry Gin
• ¾ Ounce Fresh Lime Juice
• ½ Ounce Simple Syrup
• 1 Cup Fresh Arugula Leaves

Shake like crazy and then shake some more till painfully cold.  Strain through a fine sieve into a chilled stemmed cocktail glass.  Garnish with a lime wedge.
