Mocha Mezcal

After the Margaritas, after the Enchiladas, it is time for dessert and we have the perfect finish for a Cinco de Mayo Mexican feast, The Mezcal Mocha. It is a delicious dessert cocktail that is sweet, spicy and just a bit smoky. Serve it up alongside some warm Churros for a fabulous finish to any meal. Salud!   

Mezcal Mocha

In a blender with a ½ cup of ice add:

• 1 Ounce Mezcal (the smokier the better)
• ½ Ounce Kahlua
• ½ Ounce Dark Crème de Cacao
• ½ Ounce Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
• 1 Ounce Chilled Espresso
• ½ Ounce Heavy Cream
• ¼ Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
• ¼ Teaspoon Cayanne Powder (optional to taste)

Blend on high till ice is chopped fine and drink is frothy.  Pour into a chilled martini saucer.  Dust top with cacao powder.
