La Perla

Looking for something light to enjoy during this heatwave, we came across the La Perla created by San Francisco bartender Jacques Bezuidenhout. It is an aperitif of sorts comprised of tequila, sherry, and pear liquor. The combination is delightfully bright and dry with all the ingredients pulling together in harmony while each expressing their own individual charms.

In a shaker glass filled with ice add:

• 1 ½ Ounces Reposado Tequila (We Used Partida)
• 1 ½ Ounces Manzanilla Sherry (We Used Lustau Papirusa)
• ¾ Ounce Pear Liqueur (We Strongly Suggest Mathilde)

Stir gently to chill and strain into a chilled cocktail coupe.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
