14 Carrot Cocktail

In crafting cocktails we often use the sweetness in fruit juices to round the edges of whatever spirits that are used as a base.  Similarly, we found that fresh Carrot juice can also fill that role, offering up a rich sweetness with an added bit of earthiness.  Today we share with you the 14 Carrot Cocktail.  It is made with vodka, carrot juice and a touch of ginger to spice things up a bit.  It is not something you see every day at your local pub, but a drink worthy of trying for something slightly outside the norm.  Cheers!
 

14 Carrot Cocktail

In a shake glass filled with ice add:

• 1 ½ Ounces Vodka
• ½ Ounce Domaine Canton Ginger Liqueur
• 3 Ounces of Fresh Carrot Juice
• ½ Ounce Simple Syrup

Shake until painfully cold.  Strain into a cocktail saucer.  Garnish with a baby carrot or sprig of rosemary.
